My dreams are to play the guitar and have Rudolph Schenker’s autograph. My Moment In a Million Years would come true if I win this guitar. Love Ruth.

  10. Hello, I would love to win that guitar. Scorpions are one of my favorite bands and they truly have helped me out in hard times. For being effected by the horrors of WWII, they shine brighter than any grenade flash. May their music, memories, and spirits never die or fade away. Don’t look now, the best is yet to come.

  23. I live just outside of Tampa Florida, my 19yr old son and I Love the Scorpions. I got a bonus from work and the closest concert was in Holmdel, NJ.on July 6. so we bought lawn tickets, amd I had to buy 3 plane tickets, 2 for myself because I am a big guy. I rented the car, and booked a room at the Best Western. We flew out on the day of the concert, had a lay over in Baltimore, got into NJ at 1, checked into the room at 2, got to the Arena at 6:30 bought our shirts and saw an absolutely GREAT concert. We left the next day for the flight home, that was the best way to spend my bonus. I am so thankful to have such an amazing moment with my son, who still talks about seeing our favorite band and I will cherish this memory forever. Thank you Scorpions, you have made me a very happy father. SCORPIONS FOREVER.

  40. A little back story for wiki, btw, do you guys need to verify my street for shipping? :)

The Gibson Flying V is an electric guitar model first released by Gibson in 1958. The Flying V offered a radical, “futuristic” body design, much like its siblings the Explorer which was released the same year and the Moderne which was designed in 1957 but not released until 1982. Gibson first manufactured prototypes of the guitar in 1957. Production guitars were made of korina wood, a trademarked name for limba, a wood similar to but lighter in color than mahogany. This Flying V, along with the Futura (Explorer) and, initially, the Moderne, made up a line of modernist guitars designed by Gibson’s then-president Ted McCarty.[2] These designs were meant to add a more futuristic aspect to Gibson’s image, but they did not sell well. After the initial launch in 1958, the line was discontinued by 1959. Some instruments were assembled from leftover parts and shipped in 1963, with nickel- rather than gold-plated hardware.
